Weenvo is a Teamwork.com alternative for service teams that approve hours, keep their documentation and run client meetings in one product. Teamwork is stronger on money — budgets, retainers, invoicing — but its agency features start on the €24.99 Accelerate plan. Below: features, cost for 30 users, and when Teamwork wins.
Teamwork.com is the one tool in this series built around client delivery rather than generic task management. Time tracking is on every plan, including the free one. Billable rates, budgets, retainers and invoicing from logged hours are part of the product, not an integration. If an agency’s main question is "what do we bill this month", Teamwork answers it better than Weenvo does. The gaps are elsewhere: single sign-on is Enterprise-only, and the features agencies buy Teamwork for — budgets, invoicing, workload — start on the Accelerate plan at €24.99 per user. This article measures both sides, prices them for 30 users, and says where each tool belongs.
What Teamwork.com does well
Money. Billable and non-billable time are split on every plan, including Free. Accelerate adds time budgets and retainers, client invoicing from logged time, and live capacity planning; Optimize adds multi-currency budgets and resource planning by role and skill. Billable rates can be set per project, role or client; cost rates sit next to them, so project profitability is a report rather than a spreadsheet.
Client users and contractors are free and unlimited on paid plans, each client user limited to five projects of their own company. Automations are generous: 5,000 actions a month on Basics, 20,000 on Accelerate. Two-factor authentication and SOC 2 are on every plan. The AI teammates are included for an introductory period, with usage-based credits announced for November 2026.
For an agency that lives on hourly billing and fixed-fee budgets, this is a coherent product.
What does Teamwork.com not include on one plan?
Which Teamwork plan has the knowledge base?
Shared documentation spaces are included on paid plans; page privacy, PDF export and required reading need the paid Spaces add-on. Weenvo includes documentation with per-section access and version history on every plan, including Free.

Which Teamwork plan has budgets, invoicing and timesheet approval?
Basics at €9.99 covers tasks, time tracking and billable reporting. Budgets, retainers, invoicing and workload planning are all on Accelerate, €24.99 per user per month with a five-user minimum. Timesheets start on Accelerate; timesheet approval is on Optimize and Enterprise, priced on request. SSO is Enterprise-only.
No meetings, no sprint object
There is no meeting, agenda or minutes object. Boards and lists are on every plan, but no sprint, backlog or story-point object is listed. A development agency that runs sprints builds them from boards and tags.

What it costs for a team of 30
Annual billing, 30 users. Teamwork publishes prices in euros for EU buyers. Weenvo Standard is €10 per user per month with the 15% annual discount applied.
| Set-up | Per year | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Teamwork Basics (tasks, time tracking, billable reporting) | €3,596 | €300 |
| Teamwork Accelerate (budgets, invoicing, workload) | €8,996 | €750 |
| Weenvo Standard (everything in the Weenvo column included) | €3,060 | €255 |
Basics costs 1.2 times Weenvo. Accelerate, where the agency features live, is 2.9 times the price. Taxes and billing terms vary; the final figure may differ.
How it works in practice: a 25-person marketing agency
Picture a marketing agency: twenty-five people, eight retained clients, hours billed monthly, invoices raised in the accounting system. In Weenvo each client has a workspace with its own projects and documents; the client’s contact sees only that workspace. Account managers log hours in the task card; on Friday the head of delivery opens the week’s timesheet grouped by client, returns one entry, accepts the rest. The monthly client review is a meeting in Weenvo — agenda with owners, decisions recorded during the call, minutes e-mailed to the client, the hour logged. At month end the timesheet by client, exported to Excel, is what the accountant invoices from. Playbooks and brand guidelines live in the documentation tree next to the projects.

In Teamwork the same agency gets more: budgets per retainer, a profitability report, and an invoice generated from the hours without leaving the tool. It pays for Accelerate and writes meeting minutes somewhere else. Which side wins depends on whether invoicing inside the tool is worth about €6,000 a year to that agency.
When Teamwork.com fits better
- Invoicing from logged time inside the tool is a requirement. Weenvo exports hours; it does not issue invoices.
- The agency runs on budgets, retainers and profitability reports per project. Weenvo has no budget object.
- Capacity planning by role and skill is part of weekly operations. Weenvo shows who logged what, not who is free next week.
- Clients should log in for free and see only their projects, and the team is fine with a five-project cap per client user.
Verdict by team type
| Team | Pick |
|---|---|
| Agency that invoices from timesheets and tracks profitability per client | Teamwork.com Accelerate |
| Service team that approves hours, documents its work and meets clients, with invoicing elsewhere | Weenvo |
| Development agency that runs sprints | Weenvo, or Teamwork with boards and tags |
| Up to 5 people on a zero budget | Teamwork Free (5 users, 5 projects) or Weenvo Free (10 users, every feature, 50 MB) |
FAQ
Does Weenvo track billable time?
Weenvo tracks time against tasks, projects and meetings, approves it, and reports it by client, project, project manager and period, with export to Excel. It does not mark hours as billable or issue invoices.
Can a client get their own space in Weenvo?
Yes. A workspace per client with limited roles shows only that client’s projects and documents, with no project cap per user.
Can we stop people logging hours beyond a task’s estimate?
Yes. A project can be set to block time logging beyond the allocated task budget.
Does Weenvo have a company-wide knowledge base?
Yes, included on every plan: a tree of sections with per-section access and version history, alongside documentation inside each project.
Can Weenvo be self-hosted?
The published plans are cloud. Enterprise is priced on request; ask about deployment options when you book a demo.
