Work Management for Remote Teams

Weenvo is work management software for remote and distributed teams: the written record around the chat and the calls. Decisions are typed into minutes with an owner and a date, documentation is the source of truth in every time zone, boards show who is working on what, and hours are logged from anywhere and approved weekly. One portal, one login.

Key benefits

Decisions survive the time zones

Meeting minutes are the record of a meeting: the agenda, the participants, the decisions with owners and dates. In Weenvo the agenda is filed before the call, the decisions are typed in during it, and the minutes reach the people who were asleep. The next meeting opens with their status.

Documentation instead of memory

The handbook, the procedures and each project’s documents are pages with a version on every edit, readable at any hour. A question that used to wait for the one person who knows is answered by the page.

Work visible without asking

Boards with owners and statuses, and a calendar per person and per team, show what is in progress and what is due. Asynchronous work is work where people contribute at different times without waiting for each other; it needs the state of the work to be visible, not asked for.

Hours from anywhere, approved weekly

Hours are logged in the task card from any location. The team lead approves the week on Friday, the period locks, and the report by person and project is what contractors in several countries are paid from.

A week in a company spread across time zones

A software and consulting company of a few dozen people in several countries, with a core team in Europe and contractors in two other continents, runs its week in Weenvo.

Monday, the management meeting

The weekly management meeting is created in Meetings a week ahead. Agenda items are filed by their owners on Friday, so the colleagues who join from the far time zone read and comment on them before the call. During the call the decisions are typed into the agenda items with an owner and a date. The minutes go to everyone afterwards, attended or not, and the decision to move a release becomes a task with its new date. Next Monday opens with the status of this week’s decisions.

Tuesday, a question at 3 a.m

A contractor starting their day asks how the company handles a client’s access request. The answer is a page in Documentation with the procedure and its version history; nobody is woken up. When the procedure changes, the page is edited and the old version stays.

Wednesday, who is doing what

The head of operations opens the calendar: tasks by owner and date across every workspace, meetings included. Two deadlines collide on Friday; one is moved now. The boards in Projects and tasks show each project’s status without a status call.

Thursday, the client

The client’s workspace holds its board, its documents and its review meeting. The client contact, in a different time zone again, reads the minutes of the last review and comments in a task instead of sending an email that three people answer differently.

Friday, hours

Everyone has logged hours in the task card through the week. Each team lead opens the weekly timesheet in Time tracking and timesheets, returns one entry with a question, accepts the rest, and the period locks. The report by person and project goes to finance, who pay the contractors from it.

Every day, the portal

Each team and each client is a workspace; a person sees the workspaces they belong to, from the browser or the PWA on the phone, with one login. Leave and documents are in each person’s own account, and the quarterly engagement survey reaches everyone by link.

FAQs

Does Weenvo have chat or video calls?

Weenvo holds the written record around them: the agenda, the decisions, the minutes and the tasks. The call runs in the company’s video tool, and its link sits in the meeting card.

How do remote teams keep decisions?

Every meeting has agenda items with owners; decisions are recorded against the items during the call, minutes are sent to all participants, and a decision becomes a task when it needs work.

Can people log time from anywhere?

Yes. Hours are logged in the task card in the browser or the PWA, from any location, and the team lead approves the week.

Can the whole company use one portal?

Yes. The company portal is one entry point with a workspace per team, department or client; a person sees the workspaces they belong to, with one login for all Weenvo apps.

Does it work on mobile?

Weenvo runs in the browser and is installed as a progressive web app (PWA) on Android, iOS and PC, so minutes are read and hours are logged from the phone.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Up to 10 users get every feature, including meetings, documentation and timesheets, with 50 MB of storage.
