Time Tracking and Timesheet Software for Teams

Plan, analyse and optimise workload. Summarise results by day, week, month or sprint. Distribute resources effectively, evaluate performance and measure the contribution of each team member.

Weenvo is time tracking and timesheet software for teams that need hours per project and client, approved every week, without a second tool. Time is logged in the task card. The estimate and the actual hours sit side by side. The weekly timesheet goes to the team lead for approval. Approved periods lock. The same login runs the team’s projects, meetings and documents. For service companies that bill or budget by the hour.

  • Lock closed periods, with a grace period for late entries
  • Report workload by person and allocation by project
  • Compare planned with actual time per task and per project

Planning

Plan and track working time on tasks

The estimate is entered on the task before work starts; the actual time is logged on the same task when the work is done, with a short description of what was done. Each person plans the day from their task estimates and sees at the end of it where the time went. A project setting can stop time being logged above the estimate, or after a set number of days from completion.

Timesheet

Generate employee timesheets

Every logged hour lands in the timesheet of the person who logged it, grouped by task, project and client for the week or the month. Managers can review the team’s weekly timesheets in one place; the finance team exports the month to Excel for payroll and client invoices. No hours are re-typed from a separate time tool.

Timesheet Approval

Analyse and approve employee timesheets

The team lead reviews each week’s timesheet: whether the hours match the work, whether the descriptions say what was done. A timesheet is approved or returned with a comment for correction. Once the period is accepted it locks, so the hours invoiced in March are still the same hours in June. Periods can lock automatically every week, two weeks or month, with a grace period for late entries.

Planned vs actual

The estimate and the logged time stay on the same task, so a project’s planned and actual hours are compared without a spreadsheet: by task, by person and for the whole project. A task estimated at 8 hours that took 13 is visible the week it happened, not at the end of the quarter. The article on effort estimation in project management shows how teams use this comparison to make the next estimate better.

Embedded Modules

Attachment Storage

Add and store documents and files with ease

Attach folders, documents, images and links to a task, so the time log sits next to the deliverable it produced. Files are stored in Weenvo’s cloud storage and can be added, viewed or removed at any time.

Communication

Feedback and commenting block

Comment on a task or a returned timesheet, ask and answer questions, react with likes or dislikes. A returned week comes back with the reason attached to the entry, so the correction takes a minute instead of a meeting.

FAQs

What is timesheet software?

Timesheet software collects the hours each person has worked, grouped by task, project and period, and lets a manager approve them before they are used for payroll, invoicing or planning. In Weenvo the timesheet is built from time logged on tasks and meetings inside the same system as the projects themselves.

How do employees log time in Weenvo?

In the task card: the person enters the hours and a note on what was done, on the day the work happened or later within the grace period. Time spent in a meeting is logged on the meeting the same way. Every entry appears in the person’s timesheet immediately.

Can managers approve timesheets?

Yes. A team lead or project manager approves each week’s or month’s timesheet, or returns it with a comment explaining what to correct. Accepted periods lock, and locking can run automatically weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

Can I see planned vs actual hours per project?

Yes. The estimate and the logged time are on the same task, and reports compare them per task, per person and per project. A project setting can also prevent logging more time than the estimate.

Can I export timesheets to Excel?

Yes. Timesheets export to Excel by period, project, client or employee through the data import and export module, for payroll, invoicing in the accounting system or analysis.

Does it track billable hours?

Time is tracked per task, project and client, so the hours for each client are reported and exported for invoicing. Weenvo does not issue invoices itself and has no separate billable flag on entries; billing happens in the accounting system from the exported hours.

Is time tracking included in the free plan?

Yes. Every feature is on every plan, including time tracking, timesheets and approval. Free covers up to 10 users; Standard is €10 per user per month with 15% off on annual billing. Details on the pricing page.

Does it work for remote teams?

Yes. Weenvo runs in the browser and can be installed as a progressive web app on Android, iOS and PC. Each person logs time where they are, and the manager approves the week from anywhere.
